Abstract

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is a work activity to prevent work accidents. Work accidents caused by workers are motivated by workers’ non-compliance at work. Compliance is known as a person’s ability to act, so that undesirable things do not happen, such as work accidents, do not happen. OHS knowledge and self-regulation affect a person’s compliance to comply with OHS. This study aimed to determine the influence of OHS knowledge and self-regulation on compliance applying OHS. The sample research involved 80 chemistry students at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). The results showed an effect of OHS knowledge and self-regulation on compliance applying OHS (p=0,000) with an effective contribution of 68.1%. It means that OHS knowledge and self-regulation can predict compliance applying OHS of students practising in chemical laboratories.

Abstract

There are many interesting things to explore about Panting music related to mathematics. This link between culture and mathematics is known as ethnomathematics. This study aims to determine the mathematical concepts that exist in the Panting and Babun (baboon) instruments. This study uses a descriptive method with qualitative data that involved South Kalimantan cultural and Panting musicians in Banjarmasin, a lecturer in the art and culture of music subject at STKIP PGRI Banjarmasin, and students of the Dance Education study program at STKIP PGRI Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and online questionnaires. The data obtained were reduced and presented descriptively—data triangulation using collection techniques and sources. The results of this study indicate (1) mathematical concepts on the Panting instrument are measurement, circle, multiples of 5, the position of two lines that coincide, and the position of lines that are equidistant, and (2) mathematical concepts on the Babun instrument are truncated cones, odd numbers, circle, the position of equidistant lines, isosceles triangle, rhombus, and congruence of plane figures.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to use the evaluation model of SMKN 1 Boyolangu Tulungagung Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) to determine the suitability of the application of Teaching Factory (TEFA) in overcoming job problems such as unemployment. This research was conducted using the CIPP assessment method by searching for data using observation, interviews, and questionnaire data collection. Data analysis used a descriptive percentage system. The survey results show that the assessment of the implementation of the Teaching Factory (TEFA) program conducted at SMKN 1 Boyolangu Tulungagung using the CIPP model, which is highly standardized and produces an average percentage of conformity of 89%. However, these results are issued with a note that teachers must have expertise in their respective operational fields in the Teaching Factory (TEFA).

Abstract

E-learning is not a new issue in education. This research aims to analyze the readiness of early-semester students to implement e-learning at Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. The readiness of students in facing lectures in this pandemic period is considered to be an important issue in the implementation of online lectures.  This study is qualitative research using survey methods to describe students' responses to university e-learning in an even semester. This research was conducted by disseminating survey instruments using the RASE model to students using SIPEDAR (university e-learning platform) and academic portal. The research subjects were students in the Educational Research and Evaluation Post-Graduate program and undergraduate science education program in Universitas Sajanawiyata Tamansiswa. The finding of this study stated that Students' responses on e-learning resources had an average of 3.29 (excellent). The students' responses to the activity features in e-learning reached an average of 3.25 (excellent). The student's response to the support features in e-learning with an average of 3.16 (excellent), and The student's response indicator on evaluation in e-learning by 3.21 (excellent).

Abstract

The study aims at (1) identifying the influence of PjBL-STEM and PBL on the mathematical creative thinking skills; (2) the influence of high, moderate, and low learning motivation on the mathematical creative thinking skills; and (3) identifying the interaction between PjBL-STEM & PBL and learning motivation on the mathematical creative thinking skills. The study itself is a Quasi-Experiment Research with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The samples in the study are 66 Grade VIII students from 24th State Junior High School Batang Hari. These samples are drawn by using the total sampling technique in which the number of the samples is equal to the number of the population. Then, in gathering the data, the methods that have been implemented are observation, questionnaire, and written test. After the data have been gathered, the data are analyzed by using Two-Way ANOVA. Thus, the results of the study show that: (1) PjBL-STEM and PBL influence the mathematical creative thinking skills as having been shown by the significance value 0.000, which is lower than 0.050 (0.000 < 0.050); (2) high, moderate, and low learning motivation influence the mathematical creative thinking skills as having been shown by the significance value 0.000, which is lower than 0.050 (0.000 < 0.050); and (3) there is an interaction between PjBL-STEM & PBL and learning motivation with the mathematical creative thinking skills as having been shown by the significance value 0.030, which is lower than 0.050 (0.030 < 0.050).

Abstract

The level of self-confidence of survivors of sexual violence needs to get proper attention and treatment. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group counselling in increasing self-confidence in adolescent sexual violence survivors in Surabaya. The data collection tool used is a self-confidence scale. The subjects of this study were 5 (five) teenagers who had experienced sexual violence and had received psychosocial assistance from the Hotline Surabaya Foundation and the Embun Surabaya Foundation. The research design used is the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The analytical method used is the Wilxocon non-parametric data test. The results showed that group therapy was effective in increasing self-confidence in adolescent survivors of sexual violence with a significance of p=0.021 (p<0.05).
